The WYSC is fielding a Select/Travel team for the first time in Fall 2026.
Designed to offer a more competetive option, our select team plays in the Northwest Ohio Youth Soccer League (NWOYSL) against teams from a 12-county area.
This fall’s season is intended to serve as a pilot program to determine whether it is appropriate to expand to offer additional Select teams. We currently field a U11 boys team. We currently intend to focus on the fall season for select, so that kids who also want to play baseball/softball are able to do so without missing out.
Tryouts will typically be held in mid-June in advance of the August-October season.
If you are interested in participating, or in getting involved through coaching or sponsorship, contact Abby Kantner at select@woodmore.soccer.
