Registration Info
LEAGUE DIVISIONS
Players are placed in a league division according to their birth date, regardless of skill level.
For Fall 2026 – Spring 2027, age groups will begin and end with the following birth dates:
U-6 Bumblebees: August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2022 (4-6 years old)
U-8 Passers: August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2020 (6-8 years old)
U-10 Wings: August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2018 (8-10 years old)
U-12 Strikers: August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2016 (10-12 years old)
U-14 Kickers: August 1, 2012 – July 31, 2014 (12 – 14 years old)
Registration fee covers the following for each player
•Team Jersey
• OSA & ESSL League Participation
• Accidental Injury Insurance
• Referee Costs
• Volunteer Background Checks
• Tournament Participation Fees
• Field Maintenance and Team Equipment
PREP FOR THE SEASON
Players are required to supply their own:
• Shin Guards
•Soccer Socks
• Soccer Cleats
• Water Bottle
TEAM SELECTION
Team rosters are created through a coaches draft in front of ESSL district representatives.
WYSC reserves the right to form co-ed teams for any age division if there are not enough players to form a complete single gender team.
Players are not guaranteed a team placement if their registration is received after the registration deadline.
